8:03 p.m. Sunday - Terry William, 40, no known address, is jailed on charges he punched and robbed a city man at the victim's Mercer Street home.William is accused of taking $43 from Russell Neely and assaulting him. Neely was treated for a broken nose at Butler Memorial Hospital.Police were called to the home and found William riding off on a bicycle. Officers a short time later found the defendant hiding in a closet at a Third Street home. He was arraigned on a robbery charge and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $7,000 bond.2:05 a.m. Saturday - Dana Baptiste, 29, of 111 Tuck Lane was arrested for driving under the influence at Main and Cunningham streets.Saturday - An unidentified vehicle between midnight and noon struck a car parked on Maryland Avenue and did not stop following the crash. Thomas McCommon of Maryland Avenue owns the car.6:39 p.m. Friday - Thomas Twyford, 55, of 106 Trailwood Lane was arrested for driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a car at Wayne and McKean streets. James Matthes, 53, of Mansfield, Ohio, was driving the car.10:35 p.m. July 18 - A 17-year-old boy, whom police did not identify, was arrested for driving under the influence at Pearl and Franklin streets. In addition to DUI, the youth was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana, underage drinking and other undisclosed traffic violations.

6 p.m. Sunday - Vehicles driven by Sean Neal, no age given, of Pittsburgh and Jacquelyn Armstrong, no age given, of Saxonburg collided on Route 228 in Clinton Township.4:09 p.m. Sunday - Jean Wahl, 62, of Bradford, McKean County,was seriously injured when her motorcycle slammed into a guardrail at Route 68 and Windwalker Road in Oakland Township.Wahl, who was wearing a helmet, was flown by medical helicopter with a serious leg injury to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Her condition was not known this morning.9:20 a.m. Sunday - A pickup truck driven by Paul Egbert, 58, of Butler and a car driven by Carrie Jo Burdine, 29, of Chicora collided on Route 422 in Prospect. Burdine and two passengers in her car, Robert Burdine, 6, and Riley Burdine, 4, were taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.1:45 a.m. Sunday - Justin Connor, 21, of Bessemer, Lawrence County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Unionville Road at Route 422 in Franklin Township.1:07 a.m. Sunday - Thomas Sabich, no age given, of Karns City was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 268 in Fairview Township.12:59 a.m. Sunday - Arnie Alwin was arrested after police found him with a stamp bag of heroin on Bonniebrook Road in Oakland Township.Sunday - Ten rifles were taken between 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. in a burglary at the Perry Highway home of Eileen McCall in Muddy Creek Township. McCall and Mark Templeton of Greensboro, N.C., own the rifles, valued at more than $1,000.7 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Michael Harter, no age given, of Evans City struck a mailbox and traveled into a ditch along Browns Mill Road in Forward Township.6:30 p.m. Friday - A pickup truck driven by Jason Bradburn, 17, of Petrolia struck a utility pole along Route 58 in Venango Township and rolled onto its side. Bradburn, who was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital, was cited for driving too fast for conditions.6 p.m. Friday - A car driven by William McCollough, 68, of Karns City and a pickup truck driven by David Jordan, 46, of Parker collided on Route 38 in Washington Township. McCollough's car, following the collision, struck a utility pole.Friday - A refrigerator, gas range, .38-caliber pistol and a pair of binoculars were taken in a burglary at a hunting cabin on Irwin Road in Clearfield Township. The burglary occurred between 7 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday. Janet Katic of Pittsburgh owns the stolen property.Friday - The rear window of a car was smashed with a rock while the vehicle was parked at the Holyoke Road home of Ronald Steighner in Center Township. Damage in the vandalism, which occurred between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday, was estimated at $300.Friday - Someone between noon and 9:30 p.m. vandalized a steel shed at the David Lane home of Lois Kalinsky in Worth Township. Damage was estimated at $300.Wednesday - Valerie Sutton of Franklin Township reported that someone illegally used her bankcard and withdrew $301 at an automated teller machine in Spain.

11:45 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Danny Short, 44, of Rimersburg and Shalis Ryan, 25, of East Brady collided on Route 68 in Madison Township, Clarion County. Both drivers were taken with minor injuries to Clarion Hospital.
