Jena Michelle Mangel

Jena Michelle Mangel, 12, of Whitling Road, Emlenton, died at 8:48 p.m. Saturday in the emergency room at UPMC Medical Center, Franklin, shortly after her arrival there.

Born May 22, 1992, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Richard J. Mangel and Janet Sheesley Mangel, both of Whitling Road.

Jena recently graduated from sixth grade at Allegheny-Clarion Valley School in Foxburg and enjoyed gymnastics, animals and playing in the school band.

She attended Old Zion United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Jesse and Jay Mangel of Emlenton and Jason Mangel of Parker; and a sister, Jamie Mangel of Michigan. She also is survived by her maternal grandparents, Harry and Alma Jean Sheesley of Mariasville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.

MANGEL - Friends of Jena Michelle Mangel, who died Saturday, July 24, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at HILE FUNERAL HOME INC., 1204 Kerr Ave. at Walnut Street, Emlenton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Clara Kohlmeyer, pastor of Old Zion United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Zion-Union Cemetery, Richland Township, Venango County.
