Butler residents Hope Mulneix and Michael Doran were united in marriage at 4 p.m. May 14 at the Butler County Courthouse. Judge Thomas Doerr officiated. A dinner followed at the Springfield Grille in Mercer.

The bride is the daughter of Mable Mulneix of Butler and the late C. Raymond Mulneix. Parents of the groom are William and Jean Doran of New Castle.

The maid of honor was the bride's daughter, Bree Lingenfelter of Slippery Rock.

Performing the duties of best man was Brent Beckstein of Slippery Rock.

The bride is a graduate of Butler High School. She also attended Butler County Community College. She works as a registration representative at Butler Memorial Hospital.

The groom is a graduate of Laurel High School and Slippery Rock University. He works as a teacher in the Butler School District.

Following a honeymoon trip to Indianapolis, the couple is residing in Butler.
