Lawther, Carvajal
Amanda Lawther and Jorge Carvajal, both of Deltona, Fla., were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 29 at Nixon United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. Keith Dunn officiated. The bride was presented for marriage by her grandfather, Charles Neimiller of Somerset. A reception followed at the Four Points Sheraton in Cranberry.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Furka of Saxonburg and the late David Furka. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James Carvajal of Deltona, Fla.
The honor attendant was Tina Lawther of Saxonburg. Michelle Thompson of Fenelton was a bridesmaid. The flower girl was Katlin Greger of Danbury, Conn.
Performing the duties of best man was Sam Patel of Orange City, Fla. Groomsmen included Joseph Gilabert of Staten Island, N.Y., and Benjamin Greger of Danbury. Ring bearers were Matthew Thompson of Fenelton and Noah Greger of Danbury.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Knoch High School. She is employed at Catan-Hosey Insurance in Port Orange, Fla.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Father Lopez High School. He is employed at the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
Following a wedding trip to New York City and Las Vegas, the couple is residing in Deltona.
