The senior centers are operated by the Lutheran Service Society; meals are provided by PCN Pittsburgh Companies North. Both groups are partially funded by the Butler County Area Agency on Aging and the Pa. Department of Aging. For information, call 724-282-3008.
Senior centers at Butler, Bruin, Chicora, Cranberry, Evans City, Mars, Slippery Rock, Zelienople, Mount Chestnut and the Southeast Center will serve these menus for the next week beginning tomorrow. Menus are subject to changes. Meals are served at noon at all sites except Butler (11:45 a.m.) and Mount Chestnut (12:45 p.m.) Reservations are requested a day in advance. Cost is $62.Footsteps of Heroism, Spirit of America, Washington D.C., Sept. 18.The tour will stop at the World War II Memorial with a box lunch, followed by a performance by the U.S. Army Band, Color Guard and Drill Team at the MCI Center.
