2:05 p.m. Monday - A car driven by Christina Hoffman, 24, of 210 Freeport Road struck the rear of a car driven by Kimberly Desantis, 40, of 153 Unionville Road, on Main Street. Hoffman was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.2:07 a.m. Saturday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Sharon Karch, 41, of 113 Lyn Dale Drive struck a traffic sign on South Sixth Avenue and did not stop following the crash. She reported the crash to police the following day. Karch was cited for careless driving and accidents involving damage to unattended property.

Monday - Someone between 3 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Monday broke into the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union office on New Castle Road. Nothing was reported taken from the office.

Monday - A black, 2004 Polaris Predator 90 all-terrain vehicle was taken from Snow's Garden Shop on South Main Street in Chicora. The thief cut fencing into the storage area to steal the ATV sometime between 2 p.m. Saturday and 9 p.m. Monday.5:10 p.m. Saturday - Cars driven by Robert McKaveney, 40, of Springdale, Allegheny County, and Judy Logan, 53, of Sarver collided at Route 228 and Leasureville Road in Winfield Township.
