Frank C. Ross
Frank C. Ross, 69, of Butler died at 12:07 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born Oct. 15, 1934, in Muddycreek Township, he was the son of the late James and Mary Shawley Ross.
Mr. Ross served in the Army during the Korean War and retired from Elliott Tire Co. in 1997 after 30 years.
He belonged to the Moose Lodge 64.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Ethel Lantz of Butler; five stepdaughters; and a number of step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A sister, Jean Calderone of Slippery Rock, also survives.
Four sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
ROSS - Friends of Frank C. Ross, who died Friday, July 17, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. K.L. McDeavitt, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church of Saxonburg, officiating.
