July 7 - Nearly $2,500 in property, including a generator, power tools and drill bits, were taken from a shed in a burglary at the West Diamond Street home of Ken Royce.

3:26 p.m. Monday - Marjorie Gayle Gold, 35, of Zelienople was arrested for retail theft at the BiLo store, Point Plaza.

8:47 p.m. Tuesday - David Malesh, 43, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Unionville and Stein roads in Franklin Township.5:15 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Daniel Dodson, 38, of Butler struck a fallen tree branch on Route 173 near Shields Road in Mercer Township.

Tuesday - About $160 in currency was taken in a burglary between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Route 68 home of Jami Patsy in Toby Township, Clarion County.
