Jackman OKs deal with Penguins
PITTSBURGH - Defenseman Ric Jackman agreed to a multiyear contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins Tuesday.
Jackman had 24 points in 25 games with the Penguins last year after being acquired from Toronto. Before the trade, the 26-year-old played in 29 games with the Maple Leafs and had six points.
Jackman, a native of Toronto, has appeared in 136 NHL games with Dallas, Boston, Toronto and the Penguins. He was originally drafted by the Dallas Stars in 1996.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
