Fishing licenses are sold at many stores and at the Butler County Treasurer's office in the Butler County Government Center, 124 W. Diamond St., Butler.

Fishing licenses cost $17 for residents, plus another $5.50 for a trout stamp.

Youths under 16 years old do not need a license. Seniors can buy a lifetime fishing license for $16 and a trout stamp for $5.50.
