Curt Schnur singled home the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to give himself and Saxonburg a 5-4 win over Cranberry Township in Eagle County League baseball Friday.

Schnur pitched a scoreless inning for the win.

Jason Curry homered and drove in three runs and Brendan Malone had a single and two doubles to power Saxonburg (15-4-2).

In other action:

Wexford scored two runs on an error in the bottom of the seventh inning to claim a 9-8 win over Butler.

Dante Calderone singled twice and drove in four runs and Dave Wald homered and drove in three for Wexford.

Freeport improved to 18-3 by scoring eight runs in the final two innings for a 12-6 win over Harmony.

Don Dell and Jon Schott each hit three-run home runs for Freeport.
