An Oct. 15 wedding is being planned by Melissa King and Jason Mirich, both of Nevillewood.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Frank and Carole King of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Paul and Debbie Mirich of McDonald.

The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2001 graduate of Robert Morris University. She works as an admissions coordinator at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated from West Allegheny High School in 1997 and from Robert Morris University in 2002. He works as a sales representative at Crane Pro Services in Leetsdale.
