Laurence "Dit" Osche of Elizabeth Township will celebrate his 85th birthday tomorrow.

Osche was born July 7, 1919, in East Butler. He married Elizabeth Stewart on June 14, 1947.

He has three children, Nancy Braum of Elizabeth, Joanne Lang of Ramona, Calif., and Kimberly Barnes of Elizabeth Township. He also has six grandchildren.

Osche is retired from Coca Cola, where he worked for 30 years, and U.S. Steel, where he worked for 15 years.

Osche also served as a staff sergeant in the Air Corps. He is a member of St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Township and the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens.
