Helen Giesler of Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville celebrated her 90th birthday with an open house June 12 at the Slippery Rock Township Building in Slippery Rock.

The former Helen Walker was born June 15, 1914, in Jefferson Township. She married William Giesler Sr. on May 3, 1935. He is deceased.

She has two children, William Giesler Jr. of Harrisville and Robert Giesler of Port St. Lucie, Fla. She also has six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Giesler is a former office worker and bookkeeper.

She attends Wayside Community Church in Grove City. She is also a former member of Community Alliance Church of Butler.
