Cypher 50th anniversary
Ken and Ginger Cypher of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage this month with a family reunion in Singer Island, Fla.
The former Mary Lewis married Cypher on July 6, 1954, at Grace Episcopal Church in Nutley, N.J.
They have six children, Randy Cypher and Lori Wilson, both of Butler; Ronn Cypher of Libertyville, Ill.; Larry Cypher of Victor, N.Y.; Lee Cypher of Palmyra; and LeAnne Graham of Bloomingdale, Ill.
They also have 17 grandchildren.
Cypher is retired from the Butler Area School District, where he worked as supervisor of buildings and grounds. He is an elder at Community Alliance Church in Butler and a board member at Seneca Hills Bible Conference Camp.
Mrs. Cypher is a homemaker and former physical education instructor at Grove City College. She is a member and former officer of the Christian Women's Club and serves as a deaconess at Community Alliance Church.
