Greg Samson smacked a three-run homer to power Freeport to a 14-2 win over Mars I.

Josh Harbison added four singles in support of winning pitcher Tim Buzzard.

In other action:

Wexford scored four times in the top of the seventh and held of a Mars II rally in the bottom of the frame for a 10-6 victory.

Mike Calderone, Brian Slabicek, Rob Quigley and Jack Schonbacher each drove in two runs each for Wexford (5-12-1).

Matt Babusci singled twice and doubled as Zelienople topped Harmony 11-2.
