While at the university, she received the Austin Independent School District Scholarship. She was also the secretary of Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-medical honor society, president of the Math and Science Teachers of Tomorrow and a member of the National Honor Society.

The daughter of Rodger and Lorie Stewart of Butler, she is a 1996 graduate of Butler High School.

Rosenbaum will attend medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch this fall.

She and her husband Jarrod Rosenbaum reside in Austin, Texas. They have one daughter.

He and his wife Patricia Edinboro have two children.
