Cassandra Jeffries and Brian Prine, both of Miami, exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. May 16 aboard the

Victory in Miami. Notary Michelle Beck-

officiated. A reception followed on the MS Victory.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Bessie Jeffries of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Harold and Karen Prine of Gastonia, N.C.

The honor attendant was the bridegroom's sister, Amy

of Mt. Olive, N.C. Serving his brother as best man was Eric Prine of Lake Lure, N.C.

The bride graduated in 1997 from Slippery Rock High School, in 2001 from Converse College and in 2004 from St. Thomas University School of Law. She also attended Butler County Community College and Chatham College. She works for the law firm of Vernis and Bowling in Miami.

The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Polk County High School and attended A.B. Technical College in Asheville, N.C. He works as a sous-chef at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Fla.

After a Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Miami.
