8:35 p.m. Saturday - Cars driven by Robert McElroy, 48, of Chicora and Jessica Crawford, 23, of Slippery Rock collided at East Jefferson and South McKean streets. McEloy was cited for a traffic signal violation.9:25 a.m. Saturday - Michelle Zolani, 23, no known address, was arrested for driving under the influence at Washington and North streets. In addition to DUI, Zolani was charged with driving without a license.Friday - Natalie Thompson, 27, of 140 Lyn Dale Drive was arrested for retail theft after allegedly taking undisclosed items at Dewalt's Health Food store on Main Street.4:29 p.m. Thursday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Karen McLafferty, 34, of 3565 Beck Road and a truck driven by Donna McKissick, 35, of 915 Broadway Ave. collided at East Jefferson and Kittanning streets.Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Police said McLafferty was wearing a seat belt; McKissick was not. McLafferty was cited for a traffic signal violation.
12:30 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by Mark Zock, 17, of Valencia struck several trees and flipped onto its roof along Browns Mill Road in Forward Township.8:01 p.m. Saturday - A Boyers woman was charged with numerous traffic violations after the vehicle she was driving crashed on Branchton Road near Route 308 in Cherry Township.Police said the crash occurred when Angela Hilliard lost control of her speeding car. The car struck an embankment and tree and rolled onto its side. Two passersby helped Hilliard get the vehicle back on its wheel, after which she fled the scene.Police found Hilliard and charged her with driving too fast for conditions, accidents involving damage to unattended property, careless driving, failure to immediately notify authorities of an accident, abandonment of vehicles and an open container violation.7:17 p.m. Saturday - An all-terrain vehicle driven by Gil Daponte, 42, of Florida crashed on Zion Church Road in Concord Township. Daponte, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. He was cited for undisclosed traffic violations.6:30 p.m. Saturday - Vehicles driven by Amanda Loose, no age given, of Erie and Mary Emmett, no age given, of Prospect collided at Route 8 and Duffy Road in Brady Township.5:08 p.m. Saturday - A vehicle driven by Ashley Frenchak, no age given, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled over on Herman Road in Summit Township. Frenchak was cited for careless driving.7:30 a.m. Saturday - Derik Stewart, 22, of Butler was arrested for going to an Oneida Valley Road home in Center Township after being warned by police the previous day to stay away from the house. He was arraigned on a charge of trespass and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.12:42 a.m. Saturday - Mark MacTaggart, 32, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 356 and Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township.Saturday - Two unknown white men are suspected of breaking into Natali Produce Inc. of William Flynn Highway, Brady Township. The burglars took assorted food items, checks and postage stamps. Some of the property taken was recovered near the business. The burglary occurred between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday.7:55 p.m. Friday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Amanda Schenck, 18, no address given, struck a mailbox and ditch and rolled over along Reichert Road in Worth Township. Schenck was cited for careless driving.6:25 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Charles Rossman IV, no age given, of Emlenton and a pickup truck driven by Justin Wagner Sr., no age given, of Butler collided on Route 38 in Cherry Valley. Both drivers suffered moderate injuries. Rossman was wearing a seat belt. Police did not immediately know if Wagner was wearing a seat belt.Friday - A purse, compact discs and videotapes were taken between 1 and 4 p.m. in a reported burglary at the North Main Street home of Sarah Anderson in Harrisville.Friday - Ruby McNichol of Portersville said someone between 9 p.m. Thursday and 12:50 a.m. Friday took her Chevrolet pickup truck on Perry Highway in Muddy Creek Township. The truck is valued at about $5,000.June 6 - Connie Davis of Butler said her purse was taken June 5 or 6 during a party at a Muddy Creek Drive home in Clay Township.June 5 - An undetermined amount of money and beer was taken in a theft at the Oneida Bow Hunters Association on Rimp Road in Clearfield Township.10:40 a.m. May 31 - Matthew Green, 23, of Butler suffered minor injuries after the car he was driving struck a guardrail on Route 68 in Donegal Township. Green said the crash occurred when a deer ran onto the road.
