Dickey, Martin
Anne Dickey and Gary Martin, both of Annandale, Va., were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. May 15 at North Street Christian Church in Butler. The Rev. John Slye officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Eleanore Dickey of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Clyde and Barbara Martin of Springfield, Va.
The maid of honor was Elizabeth Price of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Dickey of Butler, Diane Martin of Annandale, Andrea Nellis of San Diego and Amy Freed and Erin Rockwell, both of Boston.
Performing the duties of best man was Christopher Steiling of Fairfax, Va. Ushers were Britton Dickey of Butler, Jeff Thomas of San Fransisco, Brandt Fletcher of Springfield and Clay McCabe of Frederick, Md.
The bride graduated in 1998 from Butler High School, in 2001 from Carnegie Mellon University and in 2004 from American University. She works at Trinity Presbyterian Preschool and the Columbia Institute of Fine Arts, both in Arlington, Va.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Lee High School and in 2000 from Carnegie Mellon University. He is employed at ENSCO in Springfield.
Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Annandale.
