Sarah Bolyard of Mercer and Brian Blose of Cabot were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. March 13 at Zion United Methodist in Sarver. The Rev. Howard Greenfield officiated. A reception followed in the fellowship hall of the church.

The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Becky Bolyard of Mercer. Parents of the bridegroom are Jack and Gail Blose of Cabot.

The honor attendant was Shelah Bolyard of Mercer. The bridesmaid was Julie Hart of Cochranton. The flower girl was Taylor Woods of Hermitage.

Performing the duties of best man was James Steinhagen

. Ushers were Jason Blose and Rick Blose, both of Cabot; Ben Woods of Hermitage; and Seth Bolyard and Dallas Rodgers, both of Mercer. The ring bearer was Ryan Clark of Mercer.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Mercer High School. She is a junior at Slippery Rock University and a member of the Army National Guard.

The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Knoch High School. He is a sophomore at Allegheny College and a member of the Army National Guard.

Following a honeymoon trip to Georgia, the couple is making their home in Fredonia, N.Y.
