Wayne and Donna Campbell will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. June 5 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.

The former Donna Zahniser married Campbell on June 1, 1954. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Bash at St. John's Reformed Church in Chicora.

They have two children, Pamela Schleiden of Lee's Summit, Mo.; and Lori Groff of Elizabethtown.

They also have six grandchildren.

Campbell retired from Spang and Company/Magnetics in 1999. He served in the military from 1957 to 1958.

Mrs. Campbell is a homemaker. She is retired from Witco Chemical in Petrolia.

The couple attends Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoys golf and travel. They request no gifts.
