9 p.m. Thursday - Dean Kirk of 109 Coventry Drive reported someone struck his vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot at the Huddle Lounge.
2:45 a.m. Saturday - Jan Lees, 49, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 68 in Butler Township.11:39 p.m. Friday - William Vanormer Jr., 57, of Pittsburgh was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 228 in Clinton Township.4:05 p.m. Thursday - Vehicles driven by Mark Benninger, 38, and Amy Renick, no age given, both of Slippery Rock, collided on Route 173 in Brady Township.9:30 a.m. Thursday - Matthew Allen, 32, of Slippery Rock lost control of his motorcycle on Route 8 in Clay Township.1:45 p.m. Wednesday - David Love Jr. of Mercer lost control of his car on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township and struck a guardrail.
May 22 - A silver 2003 Mitsubishi Galant owned by Marianne Warner of Franklin was damaged in a hit-and-run accident between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on West Main Street. A damage estimate was not available. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department.May 21 - Varick Vanistendael, 28, of Slippery Rock was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment, false imprisonment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and intimidation of a victim or witness after a domestic dispute in the 600 block of South Center Street. He was arraigned by District Justice Lawrence Silvis and placed in the Mercer County Jail on a $25,000 bond.May 19 - Holley Schrott, 21, ofGrove Cityreported the rear window of her vehicle was smashed after somebody threw an object at it in the 200 block of Poplar Street. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the police department.May 19 - Elaine C. Curley, 35, ofGrove Citywas charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic incident that took place March 19 at her residence.May 9 - Matthew J. Watson, 18, and Ryan A. Edwards, 19, both of Grove City, were arrested for loitering and prowling at night, possessing instruments of crime, criminal attempt of criminal mischief, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal mischief and criminal mischief after an incident in which they were running from police on Woodland Avenue. They had several cans of spray paint and rubber gloves. Police said the pair as well as a minor would also be charged in separate incidents regarding graffiti in the borough.
Friday - Erin Maser, 20, of Pittsburgh was charged with underage consumption, disorderly conduct and presenting false identification to an officer after police responded to a fight outside Ginger Hill tavern on South Main Street.May 16 - Jeff Ottaviani, 18, of Beaver Falls was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop on South Main Street.
