5:05 p.m. Monday - A teenager riding a bicycle was injured when he was struck by a van at Zeigler and Center avenues.Jonathan Passauer, 17, of Butler was riding a bike on the sidewalk on Center Avenue when he entered the road as a van, driven by John Doutt, 72, of 242 E. McQuistion Road, crossed the road traveling north onto Zeigler Avenue.The bike collided with the van's passenger side. Police noted the bike left about 36 feet of skid marks on the sidewalk before entering the road.Passauer, who was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital, was cited for illegally entering or crossing a road.

2:45 a.m. Sunday - A pickup truck driven by Richard Harris IV, 23, of Butler struck a traffic sign and utility pole along Route 2021 in Jefferson Township and landed on its side. Police said Harris fled the scene after the crash. He was cited for careless driving and failing to immediately notify police of a crash.1 p.m. Friday - Charges are pending against two suspects accused of breaking into the Moraine Estates home of Chester Brown in Muddy Creek Township and taking about $400 in coins. The suspects, a 29-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, both of Portersville, face burglary and theft charges.

Sunday - A refrigerator was taken from a garage in a burglary between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the Dogwood Lane home of Cheryl Anderson in Pine Township, Mercer County.
