Sunday - An unidentified vehicle struck a car parked on Cleveland Street and did not stop following the crash between 8 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Jennifer Snyder of Cleveland Street owns the car.Saturday - Kristina Pease said her purse was taken from a car parked at her Fairview Avenue home.Saturday - Someone overnight smashed a window of a car parked at the Brugh Avenue home of Jacqueline Solada.

10:05 a.m. Sunday - A fishing pole and vest were found on Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township. The owner can claim the property by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.9:30 a.m. Sunday - A 25-year-old Clay Township man is suspected of shooting a cat with a rifle in the Sutton Lane area of Clay Township. Charges are pending against the man. The fate of the cat was not known this morning.Sunday - A pickup truck driven by Nathan Hinderliter, no age given, of Butler struck a guardrail and flipped onto its roof at Route 422 and Carbon Center Road in Summit Township. Hinderliter, who was wearing wasa seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries.2:30 p.m. Saturday - Cars driven by Jennifer Patton, 21, of Harmony and George Moon, 36, of Portersville collided at West Park Road and North Shore Drive in Muddy Creek Township.12:15 p.m. Saturday - Lisa Schrecongost, 49, was arrested for allegedly assaulting her mother, Audrey Wasko, 82, of Butler during a dispute at the suspect's Morning Glory Lane home at the Peter Rabbit Mobile Home Park in Brady Township.11:20 p.m. Friday - Thomas Stutzman, 24, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Saxonburg Boulevard and Dawson Road in West Deer Township, Allegheny County.1:05 p.m. May 17 - Police were called to Karns City High School in Fairview Township after three students got into a fight. One of the youths was kicked in the face and was taken with undisclosed injuries to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. It was not known this morning if any charges were filed in the case.8:25 a.m. May 14 - A car driven by Brooke Patterson, 28, of New Castle struck a tree on Route 108 in Slippery Rock Township. Police said the crash occurred when Patterson suffered a "physical condition" while driving the car. She was taken with moderate injuries to United Community Hospital in Grove City.May 13 - Two men, whom police did not identify, allegedly stole a number of radiators and other old vehicle parts from Hinds' scrap yard on Kelly Road in Muddy Creek Township. The items were later taken to a Slippery Rock salvage yard and sold for scrap. Charges are pending in the case.

2:05 a.m. Saturday - Peter Mathieu, 30, of New Castle was arrested for driving under the influence at Routes 19 and 208 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
