Army Pvt. Angela McElfresh

has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

McElfresh is the daughter of Amy Mable of Butler.

She is a 2003 graduate of Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, Midland.

Army Pvt. Michael Rose

has graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Rose is the son of Marsha Milich of Butler and Bill Rose of Escondido, Calif.

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Marjorie Curl,

daughter of Vicki and Richard Curl of West Sunbury, recently reported for duty aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Mason, homeported in Norfolk, Va.

Curl is a 2001 graduate of Moniteau High School and joined the Navy in March 2001.
