6:23 p.m. Monday - Robert Cicco, 45, no known address, was arrested on drug-related and other charges following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.Police said Ciccio was found with 15 pills of buprenorphine, a prescription drug used as a treatment for heroin dependence as well as to treat severe pain, in his pants pocket.Officers also found a baggie in the car containing eight stamp bags of suspected heroin and four bags of suspected marijuana.District Justice Joseph O'Donnell arraigned Cicco on three counts each of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance as well as driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance.Cicco, following arraignment, was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bond.3:13 p.m. Wednesday - An unidentified vehicle, possibly a newer model, silver Toyota truck struck a vehicle parked on South Eighth Avenue and did not stop following the crash. Arthur Wolff of Eighth Avenue owns the car.

6:03 p.m. Sunday - John Beatty Jr., 22, of Butler was arrested after threatening to harm his parents and vandalizing one of his parents' vehicles.Beatty was arraigned on charges of terroristic threats, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.6:47 p.m. Friday - Chad Scott, 23, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after county adult probation officers allegedly found the paraphernalia inside the defendant's duffel bag.5:10 p.m. Wednesday - A woman, whom police did not identify, reported an alleged scam to authorities.The woman told police she received a call from a man who asked her to write a check and in exchange she would receive a large amount of money from Wells Fargo Bank. She was told to send her check to an address in Montreal, Canada.Police said the woman reported the call after informing the unknown man that she believed the call was a scam.Township police reminded residents "to question deals that sound too good to be true," and never to give out personal information to an unknown person.

11:35 p.m. Monday - A motorcycle driven by Caleb Schoy, 22, of Freedom, Beaver County, crashed on Route 422 in Summit Township. Schoy, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a moderate head injury. His condition was not known this morning.8:30 a.m. Monday - Dale Bergbigler said someone took a red, 20-inch Dyno bicycle from the front yard of his Marigold Lane home in Brady Township.3 a.m. Monday - A car driven by Karen Polckynski, no age given, of Slippery Rock struck a ditch along Benbrook Road in Center Township. Police said Polckynski left the scene after the crash. She was later found and cited for failing to notify police of an accident and failing to stay in her lane of traffic.Monday - Two 50-pound propane tanks were taken from Martin's Sales & Service on Route 8 in Center Township. The theft occurred between 2 p.m. Saturday and 8:50 a.m. Monday.Monday - Two, 32-foot ladders were taken from a construction site on Brackthorn Drive in Penn Township. The theft occurred between 8:30 a.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Monday.Sunday - A car driven by Ross Petrini, 27, of Glenshaw, Allegheny County, struck an embankment on Interstate 79 at the off ramp in Jackson Township. The car continued traveling for about 240 feet before crossing Little Creek Road and striking a guardrail.
