Stanley and Valeria Wojtyna of Butler recently celebrated 68 years of marriage with a family dinner.

The former Valeria Szostak married Wojtyna on May 3, 1936, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church.

They are the parents of Bernice Radvinski of Lyndora and Vincent Wojtyna of Noblesville, Ind. Three children, Brother Valerius Wojtyna S.V.D., Maryann Wojtyna and Frances Zulick, are deceased.

They also have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Wojtyna retired in 1973 after 40 years working for Armco Butler Operations. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and a charter member of the Lyndora Fire Company.

Mrs. Wojtyna is a homemaker. She belongs to the Ladies Guild of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church of Lyndora. She is also a former member of the Lyndora Ladies Firemen Auxiliary, serving as secretary for many years.
