BC3 lists winners of high school drafting contest

BUTLER TWP - Butler County Community College's 13th annual High School Drafting Competition was held Wednesday and produced 18 winners from seven high schools.

The drafting competition was organized into five categories: architectural, mechanical, autocad 2D, inventor 3D, and architectural desktop.

It produced three winners in each category who received cash prizes, and three overall winners who received first-, second- and third-place trophies.

The overall winners of first, second and third place trophies were Jeff Maple from Pine-Richland High School, Paul Jefferies from Clearfield High School and Doug Holden from Cranberry High School in Venango County, respectively.

The winners and their high schools are:

Architectural - First, Dustin Hetrick, Clearfield; second, Kris Cetnieks, Indiana; and third, Preston McKee, Clearfield.

Mechanical - First, James Keefer, Cranberry; second, Cold Burk, Cranberry; and third, Luke Stiner, Clearfield.

Autocad 2D - First, Eric Falconer, Pine-Richland; second, Andy Moore, Pine-Richland; and third, Mike Hart, Indiana.

Inventor 3D - First, Trygve Wastvedt, Wilmington; second, Scott Souerwine, Pine-Richland; and third, Kris Brice, Wilmington.

Architectural Desktop - First, Dan Martin, Penn-Trafford; second, Chris Bonadio, Penn-Trafford; and third, Michael Peterson, Pine-Richland.
