9:23 a.m. Wednesday - Robin Morabito, 38, of 547 ½ Third St., Butler, was arrested for stealing 467 compact discs from a resident of the Lafayette Apartments. They have all been recovered. Morabito is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of a $10,000 bond.April 18 - Police were called to the pool hall at 144 N. Main St., for a man who had been beaten with a beer bottle and was lying on the sidewalk.Paul Defelice, 46, of 238 E. Brady St., fought with Butler Ambulance attendees who tried to treat him for injuries to his face and head. Police arrested him for public drunkenness. He was later released.On April 19, Mary Defelice, Paul's wife, told police he had been admitted to a Pittsburgh hospital where he was in the intensive care unit with multiple facial fractures that doctors believe were caused by kicks to the face.After investigating the incident further, police on Thursday arrested Joshua Green, 25, of 323 E. Jefferson St. He was arraigned by District Justice Pete Shaffer on aggravated assault charges and is in the Butler County Prison in a $10,000 bond.Green reportedly told police he only hit Defelice in the face twice during the April 18 incident. Defelice's condition is unknown.

April 24 - Debra Eshbaugh, 27, of Barkeyville Road reported damage to the left rear fender of her 2000 Chevy Malibu while it was parked on the 800 block of State Street. A damage estimate is not yet available. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the police.5 p.m. April 22 - Police received a report that a 1997 Chevy Cavalier belonging to Richard Bissil, 28, of Youngstown, Ohio, was struck near the left front bumper while parked at Bi-Lo in Grove City. A damage report is not yet available.April 22 - Police filed charges of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, accidents involving death or personal injury, recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving against Earl L. Franklin III, 24, no listed address, after he allegedly veered intentionally off the road and struck Varick Vanistendael, 28, of Slippery Rock, on South Center Street in Grove City. Vanistendael was taken by ambulance to United Community Hospital in Pine Township and released later that day.April 22 - A transmission owned by Rock Hudson of Grove City was reported stolen from the 400 block of Flower Avenue between April 20 and April 22. Value is $100.April 21 - Lori A. Caulk, 36, of 211 Nicklin Road, Grove City, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after a series of thefts in December from dormitory rooms at Grove City College. Caulk was arraigned and placed in Mercer County Jail on a $5,000 bond.April 16 - Michael Beck, 24, of 414 Oakland Ave., Grove City, reported his car was struck while parked behind the Grace Methodist Church. A damage estimate is not yet available.

Wednesday - Brenda G. Rogers, 39, of Gibsonia was charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop on South Main Street in Slippery Rock.Monday - Krishen Nayak, 58, of Pittsburgh was charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Franklin Street in Slippery Rock.
