WORTH TWP, Mercer County - The following cases were heard April 21 by District Justice Lawrence Silvis:

Derrick K. Clanton, 20, of Philadelphia, charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, two counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of harassment, conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, carrying firearms without a license, having a firearm with the serial number obliterated or altered, removing or obliterating the serial number from a firearm, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, having a controlled substance without a valid prescription, receiving stolen property, the manufacture, delivery and possession of a controlled substance and speeding after a traffic stop and subsequent altercation with a state police officer Feb. 2 on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Clanton is being held in Mercer County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bail.Bruce M. Fabian, 46, of Grove City, two counts of DUI, failure to keep right, approaching an intersection improperly and careless driving after a traffic stop March 11 at Greenwood Drive and Clark Street in Grove City. Fabian was released on his own recognizance.

Justin Q. Smith, 23, of McKeesport, also fined $569 after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license and giving false identification to an officer after a traffic stop Dec. 12 in Jackson Township.Randall A. Peevy, 26, of Grove City, also fined $1,379 after pleading guilty to theft by unlawful taking in the March 24 theft of three bicycles owned by Sharon Brown of Edgewood Drive, Grove City.
