Shuler, Hydrick

Jennifer Shuler of Butler and Aaron Hydrick of Cope, S.C., were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at St. Andrew's United Presbyterian Church in Butler. The Rev. Kenneth Pruitt officiated. A reception was held at the Herman Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Susan Shuler of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Bernard and Evelyn Hydrick of Cope, S.C.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Laura Shuler of Butler. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Sinnamon of Manchester, Conn., Erica Hesselbach of Toledo, Ohio, Karen Dykema of Ladson, S.C., and Stephanie Chapman of Butler. The flower girl was Laura Hydrick of Little Mountain, S.C.

Serving his son as best man was Bernard Hydrick of Cope. Ushers were the bridegroom's brother, Bernard Hydrick Jr. of Little Mountain, Alan Cole of Wellsville, N.Y., Richard Willis of Morrisville, N.C., and Robert Lacey of Binghamton, N.Y. The ring bearer was Matthew Shuler of Abbottstown.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2003 graduate of Alfred University. She is a research assistant while attending graduate school at North Carolina State University.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Wade Hampton Academy and a 2003 graduate of Alfred University. He is also a research assistant while attending graduate school at North Carolina State University.

The couple is making their home in Raleigh, N.C.
