10:53 p.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Abraham Tray, 17, of Butler backed into a parking meter at West New Castle and North Jackson streets. The meter pole was damaged in the crash.

Monday - Vandals broke three windows of a backhoe and a window of an excavator at a construction site on Route 66 in Manor Township, Armstrong County. The vandalism occurred between 11 a.m. Sunday and 8:45 a.m. Monday. Golden Triangle Construction of Imperial, Allegheny County, owns the equipment.7:37 p.m. Friday - Julie Fillman, 29, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County.

9:28 p.m. Friday - Michael Lahey III, 22, of Girard, Ohio, was arrested for driving under the influence of controlled substances on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.A search of the car uncovered a small amount of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Lahey and Mark Bobbie, 20, of West Middlesex, Mercer County, a passenger in the vehicle, were arraigned on undisclosed drug-related charges.
