Robert M. Hastings, 91, of Prospect died Monday at his home.

Born Dec. 15, 1912, in Avalon, he was the son of William and Grace Ellen McClement Hastings.

He was a Protestant and had been a self-employed steel hauler.

Surviving are a son, William Hastings of Prospect and two grandsons.

His wife Geraldine McDeavitt Hastings, whom he married Oct. 7, 1944, died April 27, 2002. A sister also preceded him in death.

HASTINGS - Friends of Robert M. Hastings, who died Monday, April 19, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday atJAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, 443 Main St., Prospect. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. A. James Lewis, pastor of West Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
