The Pre-School Place of Glade Run Presbyterian Church is offering free child screenings to check development of vision, hearing, speech, language skills, movement and thinking skills.

Children age birth to 4½ years old may be screened from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road.

CRANBERRY TWP - Tickets for four new tires from PepBoys in Cranberry Township are available from members of the 2004 Seneca Valley After-Prom Committee. The winner can choose any type of original equipment tires for their vehicle.Tickets cost $1 each and will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until May 1 in front of Shop 'N Save at the Cranberry Mall or by calling 724-776-9495.The drawing will be held at 4 p.m. May 1. SLIPPERY ROCK - Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation is offering three classes this spring:Baby-sitting class from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the park, 320 N. Main St. Participants must be 11 years old or older and will receive Red Cross baby-sitting training in leadership, safe play and basic care.Kiddie craft and more class from 10 to 11 a.m. April 22 to May 13 at the park. Participants must be younger than 3 years old.Art class from 10 to 11:30 a.m. from April 24 through May 15 at the park. Participants must be in grades fifth through eighth.The park is also accepting playsafe registration for the summer program.Pre-registration is required for classes. ZELIENOPLE--The Strand Theater Initiative announces the return of Zelienople native Nathan Brewer, founder and artistic director of the Westminster Conservatory Actors Company in Princeton, N.J., to his hometown to direct a production of "The Fantasticks."Auditions for the production will be at noon Saturday and at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Strobel Hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 215 N.
