The Grove City boys tennis team came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Rocky Grove 3-2 Monday.

Mark Schnelzer won the third singles match before the duos of Logan Crow-Drew Bestwick and Dan Spears-Josh Lynn took both doubles matches for the Eagles (4-1).

Because of poor weather conditions, the match was played using a pro set format.

Ryan McCutcheon (RG) def. Ian Smith 8-5; Johnny Grove (RG) def. Phil Hoffman 8-4; Mark Schnelzer (GC) def. Jerry Fleming 8-1.

Doubles:

Logan Crow-Drew Bestwick (GC) def. Drew Kuivinen-Brad Deeter 8-1; Dan Spears-Josh Lynn (GC) def. Matt Hayden-Ryan Advent 8-0.
