Corvin 50th anniversary
Douglas and Marian Corvin of Renfrew will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner on Saturday.
The former Marian Perlik married Douglas Corvin on April 17, 1954, at Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh.
They have three children, Valerie Druschel of Slippery Rock and Christi Shoup of Cranberry Township. One son, Douglas Corvin III is deceased.
Corvin is retired from CSX Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army in the armored tank division at Fort Hood in Texas. He enjoys fishing, hunting and golf.
Mrs. Corvin worked at Gumto greenhouse, Agway and as a secretary for Evans City Lutheran Church. She enjoys gardening.
They are members of North Street Christian Church in Butler.
