9:53 p.m. Wednesday - Wilkin Mendez, 28, of 816 E. Jefferson St. was arrested for driving under the influence at First and Jefferson streets.

Tuesday - Two Butler men were arrested for allegedly taking guns from Summit Township homes during three burglaries in March.Brian Edward Bender, 25, of 215 N. Elm St., Apt. 5 and Sean Yannotti, 22, of 216 N. Elm St., Apt. 1 were arraigned on burglary and theft-related charges. Bender and Yannotti are free on $2,500 and $1,000 bail, respectively.

March 28 - Someone broke into a Curllsville Road home in Toby Township, Clarion County and took an oil furnace and gas furnace. The burglary occurred between Oct. 1 and March 28. David McEwan of Rimersburg owns the house.

11:40 a.m. Wednesday - A car driven by Ernest Ziegenbalg, 64, of Harrisville struck an ambulance parked at the United Community Hospital parking lot in Pine Township, Mercer County, and did not stop. Ziegenbalg was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle.
