1:25 a.m. Saturday - A car driven by Parilyn Still, 27, of 100 Whitestown Village, Apt. 5, struck a car parked on Main Street and did not stop following the crash. Still was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle. John Tiedt of North Main Street owns the car struck in the crash.3:50 p.m. Friday - Chase Akmal, 7, of Butler suffered minor injuries when he ran into the side of a car on Short Street. The car, driven by Stella Buzard, 78, of Jefferson Township, was stopped for traffic at the time.

Today - Daryll Dailey, 53, of 154 Bloomfield School Road, Muddy Creek Township was arrested after he allegedly taped a number of telephone conversations between his 40-year-old live-in girlfriend and other people without their knowledge. Dailey is charged with several violations of the state's Wiretap Act.11:45 p.m. Sunday - A young, black dog with no identification tag was found at Hundred Acre Lane and Conway Road in Oakland Township. The dog was taken to the Butler County Humane Society, where the owner can claim it.7:05 p.m. Sunday - John Monocello III, no age given, of Mount Lebanon, Allegheny County suffered minor injuries when a turkey struck the vehicle's windshield on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.3:12 a.m. Sunday - James Miller, 37, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 528 and 19 in Jackson Township.10:05 p.m. Saturday - A vehicle driven by Johna McElchiorre, 39, of Pittsburgh struck a deer in Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.10 p.m. Saturday - Justin Tincha, 19, of Renfrew was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he nearly struck a state police cruiser on Moose Road in Connoquenessing Township.Five minutes earlier, police said, Tincha drove through the yard of Scott Isaacs on Kriess Road, striking two large rocks and a cluster of mailboxes.Saturday - Police are investigating a suspicious fire on Bauder Mill Road in Muddy Creek Township in which a pile of discarded building material was ignited.Portersville volunteer firefighters extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.8 p.m. Friday - Tamara Austel was arrested after allegedly trying to take a $62 bottle of perfume from the Bon Ton store at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.5:10 p.m. Friday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Kimberly Getz, 25, and a car driven by Frances Larsson, 47, both of Butler, collided on Route 356 in Winfield Township.5:21 p.m. Thursday - A car driven by Deana McEwen, 18, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Timothy McPherson, 43, of Renfrew collided on Route 68 in Forward Township. McPherson and a passenger in his pickup, Anthony McPherson, 13, of Renfrew, suffered minor injuries.Thursday - A Kenwood compact disc stereo, two speakers and an amplifier were taken from a car at the Slippery Rock High School parking lot in Slippery Rock Township. Anthony Merola II of Slippery Rock owns the stolen property.

March 24 - Mark and Nancy Gabler reported that someone broke into their Cadogan Flats home in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County, and took three rifles and a jar of quarters.

6:19 p.m. Friday - Melissa Plasco, 23, of Philadelphia was arrested for allegedly using fraudulent checks and fraudulent identification to purchase undisclosed merchandise at the Bose Factory Store, Prime Outlets in Springfield Township, Mercer County.Police said Plasco was arrested following a brief car chase.She is charged with six counts each of forgery and theft by deception, three counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of access device fraud and identity theft, fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.
