10:24 p.m. Monday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Joshua Green, 22, of 129 Second St. and a car driven by Gladys Cousins, 65, of 101 Sparks Ave. collided at East Jefferson and Franklin streets. Both drivers were taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Green was cited for a left-turn violation.

1:30 a.m. Sunday - A 33-year-old Erie County man was shot in the head with a BB gun while getting into a vehicle at the 68 Bar parking lot in Toby Township, Clarion County.The Albion man, whom police did not identify, was treated for minor injuries at Clarion Hospital and released.Anyone with information in the incident is asked to call the barracks at 814-226-1710.

Tuesday - Construction equipment valued at $1,854 was taken between 5 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday from a work site on Courtney Mill Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County. Kenneth Nelly of Butler owns the stolen property.Tuesday - Fifty traffic citations were issued over a 10-day Selective Traffic Enforcement Program detail on Interstate 80 in Mercer County and on Route 208 in Pine Township, Mercer County. The STEP detail was between March 20 and 30. In addition to the traffic violations, seven warnings were issued to motorists for speeding.Monday - Police are searching for two unknown suspects wanted in connection with a jewelry theft at the Ultra Diamonds store, Prime Outlets in Springfield Township, Mercer County.At about 3 p.m., two black men entered the store and looked at diamond earrings before leaving. About 6:30 p.m. one of the men returned, tried on a ring and again looked at earrings. The man ran out of the store with the rings and two sets of diamond earrings.The man who made off with the jewelry is described as in his late teens to early 20s, 5-feet-10 with a slim build. He had tattoos that ran down both arms. The other suspect is in his 50s, about 5-feet-8 with gray hair and a moustache.
