Tuesday - Between 5 and 6 p.m., an unidentified tractor-trailer struck a mini-van parked on South Main Street and did not stop following the crash. Linda Cunningham of Penn Township owns the mini-van.5:53 p.m. Monday - A car driven by Randy Kight, 33, of Renfrew pulled out of a parking space on West Wayne Street and collided with a car driven by Melissa Selfridge, 27, of Butler. The collision forced Kight's car into a truck, owned by David Valletto of Penn Township, parked on the road.A passenger in Selfridge's car, Brandon Selfridge, 5, of Butler, suffered minor injuries. Kight was cited for a moving violation in the crash.

Monday - Several bottles of liquor and a bag containing coins were taken between 1:30 and 2:04 a.m. in a burglary at Marshall's Pub in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.3:15 p.m. Saturday - Pickup trucks driven by Joseph Spangler, no age given, and Clifford Chestnut, 63, both of Kittanning, collided on Bunker Hill Road in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.

March 15 - Two cases of beer were taken in a burglary at Brewmeister's Distributors at Route 58 and Irishtown Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.The unknown burglar, who broke into the business after throwing a large rock through a glass door, dropped one of the cases in the parking lot before fleeing.Anyone with information about the burglary, which occurred March 14 or 15, is asked to call the barracks at 724-662-6162.
