11:17 p.m. Tuesday - An unidentified dark red Pontiac car struck a fence at the Morton Avenue home of Tim Glover and did not stop after the crash.
Tuesday - Several tires overnight were slashed on three vehicles on Browns Hill Road.Rocco Deller said he found four tires had been slashed on a sport utility vehicle parked at his home. Janice Zotter reported two tires on her car had been cut and two tires on her husband's company vehicle also were slashed. Both vehicles were at the couple's home.Monday - Someone drove up to a Leslie Road home and threw a bow saw, several bottles of motor oil and 10 sets of Christmas lights into the homeowner's yard.Sunday - A yellow, 2001 Suzuki Quad Sport 400 all-terrain vehicle was reported stolen from a Pittsburgh Road home.Saturday - A propane tank was reported stolen at a Forsythe Road home.Saturday - Someone tried unsuccessfully to pry open a soda machine at Roblin Bowling Lanes on Pittsburgh Road.
8:20 p.m. Tuesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Carol Daugherty, 59, of Franklin Township skidded while traveling over an ice-covered bridge on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township, struck the median and flipped onto its roof. Daugherty, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with minor injuries to UPMC Passavant Cranberry in Cranberry Township.1:48 p.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Paul Kopac, 56, of Sarver struck a tree at Dinnerbell and O'Hara roads in Jefferson Township. Kopac, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries.Tuesday - A car driven by Jodi Faraone, 35, of New Castle skidded on snow-covered Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and struck an embankment.6:30 p.m. Monday - A pickup truck driven by James Luketic, 19, of Cadogan, Armstrong County and a sport utility vehicle driven by David Kulas, 47, no address given, collided on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Diane Kulas, 46, no address given, a passenger in the SUV, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with undisclosed injuries to UPMC Passavant Cranberry in Cranberry Township.Monday - About 50 compact discs and a Magnavox portable CD player were taken from a car at the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township. The theft occurred between 9 and 10 p.m. Whitney Livingston of Butler owns the stolen property, valued at $678.12:30 a.m. Sunday - Brian Geibel, 21, of 483 Keck Road, Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 356 and Dreher Lane in Summit Township.March 3 - Derek Reed of Petrolia reported that someone broke into his pickup truck parked at the Hot Rods Hideaway parking lot in Fairview Township and took a briefcase containing a checkbook. Two personal checks from the checkbook were later forged and cashed.
Tuesday - A car driven by Susan Pyle, 34, of Ford City struck a guardrail on Route 28 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Pyle was taken with minor injuries to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.
