5:55 p.m. Friday - A vehicle driven by Thomas Lehnerd, 43, of 212 Second St. struck a vehicle owned by Rudolph Popovic, 86, 104 Windsor Drive while it was parked on East North Street.

4:23 p.m. Friday - A utility pole at 745 Belmont Drive fell over, throwing a live electric wire onto the street. City police closed the road until the wire could be cleared.

3:25 a.m. Friday - Shawn Fennell, 26, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after he lost control of the car he was driving on Route 38, hit an embankment and rolled over.

6:15 p.m. Thursday - Someone struck a vehicle owned by Brenda Hall of Slippery Rock while it was parked in the Rock House Bar parking lot in Clay Township.
