Knapp, Whirlow

Kimberly Knapp of Gibsonia and Kent Whirlow of Pittsburgh exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at Saxonburg Memorial Church. The Rev. David Brewer officiated. A reception followed at the Marriott in Cranberry Township.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Patricia Paulovich of Cabot, and Regis and Toni Knapp of Alto, Ga. Parents of the bridegroom are Donald and Milly Whirlow of Murrysville.

The honor attendant was the bride's sister, Billie Jo Knapp of Cabot.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Aaron Szymkowiak of Cincinnati.

The bride graduated in 1983 from Knoch High School, in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in German from Slippery Rock University and in 1996 with an advanced certification in computer sciences from Robert Morris University. She is a manager of information systems at Highmark in Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom graduated in 1985 from Franklin Regional High School, in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in business from University of Pennsylvania-Johnstown and in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a programmer analyst for Highmark in Pittsburgh.

After honeymooning in Ireland, the couple is living in Gibsonia.
