7:55 a.m. Tuesday - Vehicles driven by John Fosnaught, 31, of 400 N. Sixth Ave. and John Kefalas, 55, of 523 E. Brady St. collided at McKean and Jefferson streets.Tuesday - Pennsylvania license plates were reportedly taken from three vehicles Monday or Tuesday.Patty Angert of White Avenue said the plate ENM5567 was taken from her car parked on North Monroe Street, and Derek Delaney of Thomas Avenue, said the plate EJM2108 was taken from his vehicle at the Pullman Square Kmart.Howard Lamont of Karns City said plate EGK6702 was taken from his vehicle at Ninth Avenue.
8 a.m. Tuesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Valerie Fincher, 46, of Cabot skidded off slush-covered Route 356 in Jefferson Township and struck a hillside.7:50 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Jessica Roberts, 17, of Butler skidded at slush-covered Route 422 and Carbon Center Road in Summit Township and rolled onto its side.7 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Kelly Loney, 17, of Cranberry Township skidded off snow-covered Interstate 79 in Jackson Township, struck an embankment and flipped onto its roof.6:50 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Cyndi Wagner, 23, of 525 Euclid Road struck a utility pole and rolled onto its side on Route 8 in Center Township. Wagner suffered minor injuries.6:40 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Gary Meters, no age given, of Renfrew skidded on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township and collided with a pickup truck driven by Stephen Wabiszewski, no age given, of Butler.6:10 a.m. Tuesday - A pickup truck driven by Michael Stubbs, 30, of Worthington, Armstrong County, skidded on snow-covered Harris Road in Summit Township and collided with a vehicle driven by Scott Shay, 36, of Cowansville, Armstrong County.5:58 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Terry Snyder, no age given, of Prospect skidded on ice-covered Route 488 in Prospect and struck a utility pole. Snyder suffered minor injuries.Monday - Richard Pease, 59, of Butler was charged with inappropriately touching an unidentified girl at an undisclosed location in Jefferson Township between 2001 and Dec. 26. Pease is charged with endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault and corruption of minors. No other information was available this morning.10:50 a.m. Sunday - An unmarked state police car driven by Trooper Frank Jendesky and a sport utility vehicle driven by William McCormick, 61, of Butler collided on Whitestown Road in Butler Township. Jendesky, who was wearing a seatbelt, was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital and released.7:01 p.m. Saturday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Babette Fitzgerald, 27, of Harrisville struck a tree along Route 58 in Venango Township. Fitzgerald, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial.Fitzgerald's children, William, 6, and Hallie, 2, passengers in the vehicle, were taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial. Both children were in child safety seats.2:20 p.m. Feb. 16 - A car driven by Paul Allen, 58, and a pickup truck driven by Leo Mohan, 39, both of Butler, collided on Route 68 in Donegal Township. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Allen was cited for careless driving.Feb. 16 - An unknown suspect entered the Sam's Spot store on Chicora Road in Oakland Township and took $110 from behind the counter.
5:30 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Clinton Crawford, no age given, of Rimersburg skidded off snow-covered Route 68 in Toby Township, Clarion County, and struck a utility pole. Crawford suffered minor injuries.
8 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Janet Hanzel, 45, of Kittanning struck an embankment and rolled over on Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Hanzel was taken with minor injuries to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.7:05 a.m. Tuesday - Three people were injured when a school bus and car collided on Route 2025 near Fairgrounds Road in Manor Township, Armstrong County.The crash occurred when the bus, driven by Dorothy Burdett, 29, of Kittanning, carrying 10 children between 13 and 18 years old, skidded on the snow-covered road and collided with the car driven by Henry Toy Jr., 19, of Kittanning.Carl Toy, 13, a passenger on the bus, and Henry Toy and Britney Cirrincione, 16, of Kittanning, a passenger in the car, all suffered minor injuries.
