Teorsky opts out as Freeport coach
BUFFALO TWP — Freeport High School boys soccer coach Dave Teorsky is stepping down from that position after leading the Yellowjackets for eight seasons.
Teorsky’s overall record was 77-63-4 with five WPIAL playoff appearances and a section title in 2016. It was only the second section crown in the program’s 28-year history.
Teorsky cited additional responsibilities at his day job, and his assistant coaches — sons Stevie and Patrick — entering new chapters in their lives, as reasons for his departure.
