Mary Beth “Beth” Tracy

Mary Beth “Beth” Tracy, 63, passed away peacefully Feb. 3, 2021, at her home.

Born Nov. 14, 1957, in Butler, she was the youngest child of the late Emil and Marian Tracy.

Beth graduated from Butler Area Senior High School.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ed Gereshenski; three sisters, Barbara (Ted) Boulos of Gibsonia, Deborah Tracy and Kristine (Joe DeMatt) Sasse of Butler; and two brothers, Daniel (Debbie Dora) of Monroeville, and Randy (Lisa) Tracy of Butler.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her cat, Dusty.

She spent many years working in the family business, Butler Office Products on Main Street. After the business closed, she followed her passion for cooking by working at Target in Food Avenue, then the kitchen at the Butler Hospital, and lastly as a chef's assistant at Silvermist Recovery Center.

Beth had a loving heart and was always thinking of others.

In addition, she was the primary caregiver to her parents, whom she took into her home during their final years.

Beth and Ed loved going out for wings, and the yearly family picnics were a particular favorite, where she shared her famous pierogi casserole and homemade baked beans.

TRACY — Due to COVID-19 and per her wishes, there will be no visitation for Mary Beth “Beth” Tracy, who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021.Burial will be private.A memorial service will be held later in the early summer to celebrate her life.Arrangements were entrusted to SPENCER D.
