Steven Bacheler
Steven Adrian Bacheler, 66, of Butler, passed away Jan. 29, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 3, 1954, in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany, and was the son of the late Harry Martyn Bacheler and the late Harriet Nancy Durrell.
Steven was a veteran in the U.S. Navy, having served during the Gulf War. Once out of the Navy, he worked as a network specialist at ITG, retiring in 2018.He was a member of North Main Street Church of God.Steven was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He liked to do family genealogy.Steven is survived by his wife, Karen Bacheler, whom he married on Dec. 7, 1985; one son, Keith Bacheler of Butler; one daughter, Melissa Bacheler of Butler; four grandchildren, Kole Houser, Rylie Bacheler, Isaac Bacheler and Elliott Bacheler; and one sister, Nancy Dillow of Houston, Texas.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Martyn Bacheler and Phillip Bacheler.BACHELER — There will be no public visitation for Steven Adrian Bacheler, who died Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.A private burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
