The Butler County Parks and Recreation will stage its annual Monster Mile Family Walk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Participants are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and walk through Alameda Park in Butler Township.

Each child will receive a pumpkin, jump on an inflatable slide, and get a craft. There will also be a petting zoo for families to enjoy.

The program is geared toward children, ages 1 to 10 years old. Due to COVID-19, the registration fee will remain at $5 per child. A late fee will not apply this year.

Children younger than 1 are free, but must be registered. Registration is available online.
