Lions donation
The Butler Lions Club recently donated money to the Butler City Police to help purchase Stop The Bleed Kits kits for the department's 8 patrol cars. The kits could help save a life because, according to Officer Cheryl Litz, depending on where an injury is located, a victim could bleed out in 3 minutes. Kits used in the patrol cars cost around $100 each. From left, Butler Police Officer Cheryl Litz and Sgt. Nick Shulik talk with Butler Lions Club President Janet Flecken.
